Saint Bernadette Elementary School students send cards, letters, and videos to The Normandy Residents among the COVID-19 pandemic.
April 17, 2020- Senior living homes across the globe have had to halt visitation privileges for the friends and families of their residents due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Normandy Senior Living Campus included. This has caused many of our residents to feel lonely and isolated.
Thankfully, the students at Saint Bernadette Elementary School have been kind enough to send cards, letters, and videos (which can be pictured below) to our residents who haven’t been able to spend time with their families these past few weeks.
We cannot thank these students enough for thinking of our residents during these tough times. Their days have been brightened tremendously. We are looking forward to the day when we can all gather together safely again.
“The students of St. Bernadette’s are a very special group of people who have brought so much joy to the residents at the Normandy Senior Living Campus by sending the hand-made cards, letters and personal videos. The residents appreciate their thoughts and prayers during this time and look forward to their visits again,” says Kim Zdanowicz, Marketing Director for The Normandy Campus.
The Normandy is a Senior Living Campus that combines top-notch amenities and a connected community lifestyle to provide a continuum of care for every stage of the aging process. We continue to provide a community where residents can embrace life, let go of daily tasks and enjoy the freedom to make the most of every moment.
